LAMPWORKING CLASSES
Private Classes

Group Classes
2 day 12 hour Intro to bead making minimum of 2 students, Orientation 1 hour lecture, 11 hour torch time! Available dates posted on website. $450.00 class starts at 8am till 3pm, one hour lunch at noon. ($560 for marble making)
Intro to Lampwork Boro Bead Making
We begin class with our Orientation, then move on to melting glass and pulling stringers. From there we then move on to the application and forming of clear glass on the mandrel and beadmaking basics. We then cover your basic shapes round, tube, bi-cone, tab etc. As we progress we begin to incorporate colors and some different techniques such as dots, air traps, and zig zags. Two day class include the fundamentals and proper use of Borosilicate colors and more advanced techniques. All beads can be picked up the following day or shipped for free. Minimum of 3 students. Class is 9:00 - 4:00 with an hour lunch.
Intro to Lampwork Marble Making
We begin class with proper set-up, safety, physical and chemical properties of glass, then move on to melting glass. Using clear glass we will demostrate how to mkae a clear marlbe, proper use of a marble mold, and hot and cold punty seals. As we progress we then begin to incorporate color, patterns and basic marble making techniques such as Vortexs and surface patterns. The two day class includes the fundamentals and proper use of Borosilicate colors and more advanced techniques. All marbles can be picked up the following day or shipped for free.Class is 9:00 - 4:00 with an hour lunch.

Lampworking studio rental is available $12.00 per hour includes torch, gases, kiln, and safety glasses. You are responsible to have your own glass, tools, this includes mandrels, bead release, molds, marvers etc… and anything else you may need.
All of our lampworking and fusing classes include all clear and colored glass, torches, tools and gas, everything you might need. No prior instruction is needed to attend our introduction or beginner classes. All you need to bring is your creativity. Our classes are designed to teach our students proper studio setup, including torches, tools, ventilation, safety etc. We try to accommodate each individual student with as much information as we can provide. They encouraged to bring photos, books, or magazines, or any list of ideas or questions they may have. Both Christopher and Jacquelyn will be available for group classses (two teachers for the price of one) which allows every student to have plenty of one on one time.
Intro Lampworking Classes are limited to 4 people, with minimum of 3. A non-refundable half down deposit is due at r egistration . Registration due at least one week prior to class date. Cancellation less than 36 hours prior to class will result in loss of deposit. We accept Pay pal , Money Orders, Visa Master Card. This allows us to have ample supplies available, to holds your space and allow us time to replace your spot if you cancel.

There are NO FEEs attached to my parties. Your guests can spend as little or as much as they please without feeling pressured! I do however request a $5.00 per person deposit that is reimbursed to the guests at the party! Just a lil incentive to get everyone to the party and I have enough gas money to get home to Boonville... lol! Please book your party at least 2 weeks in advance so that plenty of beads can be handmade and ready for your guests.
